I'm runing PHP4.0.2-dev (snapshot php4-200008030345), and scripts I run that have a form that
posts data to itself and then output that data, fails to produce any output at all when I hit the
submit button in aproximately 3 out of 5 cases. This problem disappears completely if I enable
output buffering in php.ini - When I use Lynx to access the scripts, I get the error
"Unexpected network read error" right after hitting submit.
These scripts worked perfectly with PHP 4.0.0
The scripts I've tested with are fairly complex, so I'm not quite sure what parts of them
fail, but I can investigate this further if wanted.
PHP (both 4.0.0 and this devel. version) was configured like this:
'./configure' '--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs
--with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd --enable-calendar --enable-trans-sid --enable-versioning
--enable-track-vars --with-gd --with-jpeg-dir --with-tiff-dir --with-png-dir --with-ttf
--with-zlib-dir --enable-memory-limit=yes --with-openssl --disable-debug
I'm running Apache 1.3.12 on Slackware Linux 7.0
