ID: 7675 Updated by: sniper Reported By: anothy@cosym.net Status: Closed Bug Type: *Configuration Issues Assigned To: Comments: Reopen, if this still happens when using latest snapshot from http://snaps.php.net/ --Jani Previous Comments: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-11-08 00:52:23] sniper@php.net I fixed this one already..you're using Sun CC, right? Please try the latest snapshot. --Jani --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2000-11-07 07:37:06] anothy@cosym.net from a fresh distribution of php 4.0.3pl1, configure completes without errors, but 'make' then fails compiling main/reentrancy.c due to the missing #define of HAVE_POSIX_READDIR_R. adding this definition to the cc line for reentrancy.c lets it compile, but fails in linking (undefined symbol). Solaris' readdir_r is Posix-compliant and configure should set #defines acordingly. adding the line '#define HAVE_POSIX_READDIR_R' to php_config.h after configure but before make corrects this problem. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Full Bug description available at: http://bugs.php.net/?id=7675
