?? No, I don't think autoconf gets confused. The problem was that in the
3.0.6 version of configure.in we had a:
AC_MSG_ERROR(could not find imap library!)
instead of a simple:
AC_MSG_RESULT(no)
I fixed this last weekend. I don't think what you added here is needed.
