I'm using libmcrypt-2.4.7, which is the latest I can find
on the website, and I have the problem (it is detecting 2.2.x).
And mine definitely seems to have the init_mcrypt function,
although the earlier patch fixes it (somewhat kludgily, better
to find some more unique functions)
