As requested:
I disabled the "show pictures" in internet explorer (version 5.5 Sp1), and
you are correct. The script behaves as expected (but the 2 logos dont show
of course).
I also noticed that when the "show pictures" is on, the first load of the
page does not display either of the logos (and the counter is 1). Clicking
on refresh displays both logos (and the counter increments to 4 as
described).
I want to thank you for your response. Now that I know the cause, I will
simply not use
phpinfo() in this manner.
