more on bug 8351

I've run into bug 8351 myself. here's some more information on it. the problem occurs when you install Bind 8. The bind includes and bind libs are moved into /usr/local, and configure doesn't seem to handle it properly. The missing modules are part of the -lbind library from bind 8.
