Is this Solaris 8? I suspect it is, I don't have access to Solaris 8 at the moment. Could you do some tests if I give you some pieces of C code to test with? There hasn't been that many reports, it would be interesting to hear from others as well, so we can figure if it's your setup or not. There are some minor differences with getaddrinfo on different OSes, and some broken implementations. Might be we need some tweaking on Solaris 8. > I hope this helps.
