There is another problem, what is supposed to happen if buffers are not explicitly flushed? In this case where the second flush is commented out, it sends output without passing it through the callback function
I would either have expected
1) ob_end_flush() is called at the end of the script automatically for all open buffers
OR
2) buffers are cleaned instead of flushing them unmodified
andré
testscript:
<?php
$a=500;
ob_start('ob_gzhandler');
echo str_repeat('a',$a);
echo "asdfasdfasdaf";
ob_start('ob_gzhandler');
ob_end_flush();
//ob_end_flush();
?>
