And what do you say about such warning:
"Warning: alarm: Unable to initialize module Module compiled with debug=1,
thread-safety=0 module API=20000401 PHP compiled with debug=1,
thread-safety=0 module API=20000609 These options need to match in
/opt/WP/htdocs/alarm.php on line 3" ?
This warning occured when I tried to load alarm.so module created by a
friend of mine. The problem I have, didn't happen to him. Everything
was OK.
As you can see, in this example 'debug' and 'thread-safety' options match
(I recompiled PHP with --enable-debug). But API do not. But both
values are very similar (because the versions of my and my friend's php
are close to each other (is my English good ?;).
Secondary: I have no problems with compiling my own extensions
(created by ext_skel, but compiled as .so modules. This way
was tested by my friend, and not only by him). But when I try
to load them, the error from the previous e-mail occures.
debug=255,thread-safety=255, API=0 (why my modules have such
strange parameters ?).
Main questions I set are: Why does the function "dl" check
these parameters ? Is it necessary ?
And why it does _not_ in my friend's version ? (he has no problems
with any modules).
And why modules compiled by me have such stranche parameters (255,255,0) ?
Is it possible, that the _apache_ has
influence on all of this ? My apache version is not standard (a little
modificated to use in my firm), as I know, other people using it had no
problems.
Maybe the gcc in redhat 7.0 is bad ?
So many questions...
The next step I'm going to do, is to install completelly new
apache and php from the very begining and try again to compile and
load modules. But if ...
Thanks for response !
