You didn't define .html as a PHP type in your httpd.conf file. Look for the "AddType
application/x-httpd-php .php" and append .html to the line.

Have you made appropriate changes in Apache's httpd.conf to let it know it should pass html
files to PHP to parse them?

I put php code inside a php file it works. But when I put php script inside html, it does not work.
