The way I found to fix it on Redhat 7.0, was to install the latest RPM's
from the redhat errata site. One of those was a fix for glibc. So, to
answer your question, no, but that's only because I had applied the RPM's
before building 4.0.4 :)
I wasn't able to determine the RPM that fixed it, but I would be willing to
bet it's the glibc fix.
The definately broken config was Redhat 7.0 i386, PHP4.03pl1, Apache 1.3.1x,
and Oracle 8.1.6 with the config line I specified in the bug report.
I verified that on 3 systems.
