I recently tried again with 1.3.4, 2.2.3 and the latest php3 from CVS at the time (as well as 3.0.5), but the results for me, at least were still the same. When mod_ssl and mod_php3 are both DSO, there are big problems at startup, and strace shows that there's a sched_yield loop going on and on and on. This is linux 2.0.36 + secure-linux patches, gcc 2.7.2.3, and glibc 2.0.7. It works fine if I link mod_php3 static, however. -- Jake Buchholz, ExecPC Sr. Systems Administrator : /~\ jake@execpc.com -- http://www.execpc.com/~jake : ASCII \ / Against Fngrpt PGP262: 29f3322af2da07994dc03fdf1f50aed2 : Ribbon X HTML GnuPG: 53d97ab3d279f731e7d2fc1197ca38544423882b : Campaign / \ Mail -- PHP Development Mailing List http://www.php.net/ To unsubscribe send an empty message to php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For help: php-dev-help@lists.php.net
