My first guess would be that you have some other library with ldap_open(), one such might be Oracle. If any libraries are loaded at runtime you can see it using strace. It could be that Apache has loaded some other LDAP library (or compiled statically). There are some Apache LDAP modules out there for instance. Well, just some thoughts, I don't know really. Stig
