As it is a compile first, execute later interpreter it will in practice not slow down your code. Of course if your script has only a very small amount of flat code (no loops/function calls) and a huge amount of comments (tens of KB) then it could theoretically make a difference but in reality it doesn't. I am wondering, since php is an interpreted language, if it slows down the more comments are inside a sourcecode or not. thanx, mOrP -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-dev-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
