Could you please check if this happens also with
PHP 4.0.4RC3:

compile mod_php with-mm on RedHat 7 with oonly 34M of shared memory. Also compile apache to use
mod_php (enable_module=most) ps_mm_initialize calls mm_create() and passes 0 for pool size. That
causes mm_create to try to get hardcoded 67M of shared memory. mm_create fails b'zeachine only
has 34M ofshared memory available. As a result, data->mm is NULL and data->hash will also be
assigned to NULL returned from mm_caloc, which will later cause a crash in ps_mm_destroy. This means
that apache crashes on startI think ps_mm_initialize should check the
return from mm_create and pass something other than 0 to it.
