The problem is the order of the arguments in the final linking stage. I have reordered the arguments (see last mail), and it works flawlessly as module for apache. I have SDK 2.20.UC1. Here is the last command executed mit apxs: ld -G -o libphp3.so mod_php3.o /usr/local/ius/release/lib/esql/checkapi.o -lifglx -ldb -lpam -lm -ldl -lsocket -lnsl -lresolv libmodphp3-so.a -L/usr/local/lib -L/usr/local/ius/release/lib -L/usr/local/ius/release/lib/esql -lifsql -lifasf -lifgen -lifos -lifgls -lnsl -lsocket -laio -ldl -lelf As you see, the "-L/usr/local/ius/release/lib/esql" is set too late, it must be before "-lifglx".
