Bug description: php -l (lint option) still not working in 4.0.6-dev
I have obtained the latest CVS version of PHP (4.0.6-dev). I execute the following:
php -l blah.html
blah.html looks like this:
<?
echo "adfsdf"asdfds" ;
?>
This USED to cause PHP to core dump. Now it returns but does not output and error message.
Actually, it does not seem to do anything. Am wondering if this option (-l) is supported or in for
future use or if this is being worked on.
Thanks.
