Bug description: pathinfo causes network error
Calling pathinfo() on a path that lacks a file extension causes PHP to screw up:
$info = pathinfo("/home/bill/bin/script");
The similar invocation works fine:
$info = pathinfo("/home/bill/bin/script.php");
