I guess the underlaying thread was lost -- the whole issue is just that I don't have control over compiling PHP in the first place. I needed a solution that could be implemented w/o being the one compiling 0 I I compiled then I wouldn't have the problem at all.
And - that's why I have requested that (since the WDDX is now native) that it be _always_ be embedded (like XML is already) without needed the config line switches.
Maybe you can help me understand why this is not a reasonable idea (I've made this request before but never get a reply)?
