Operating system: Redhat Linux 5.2
PHP version: 3.0.7
PHP Bug Type: Sybase-ct (ctlib) related
Bug description: The sybase module doesn't escape ' characters
The mysql module escapes various characters like " by adding a \ before the character to be
escaped. The Sybase module does not escape the ' character by prepending an extra ' as it
should do, causing Sybase to complain.
