Now this should really be fixed.
As you propably used the builtin mysql libs instead of
the external ones.

This should be fixed in CVS. Please try the latest CVS
snapshot from http://snaps.php.net/
If it doesn't work either, reopen this bug report.

I upgraded from php-4.0.3pl1 to 4.0.5 as a DSO in apache and now php cannot connect to MySQL
database
