Actually a completely fresh checkout still doesn't work for me. It dies when compiling xmltok_impl.c. By the way defining HAVE_LIBEXPAT2 in the .dsp seems to be not needed anymore. Best to define HAVE_LIBEXPAT_BUNDLED for php_compat.h in config.w32.h. I don't mind making the change but I prefer doing when I can get my environment to build again so that I can test it. Yes - and no. After a new 'cvs co php4' it worked finally :-)

The same thing happened to me. I wonder why that is. And I made sure with cvs diff that there is no difference between my version and the CVS.
