syntax error on line 995 of c:/program files/apache group/apache/conf/httpd.conf
LoadModule takes two arguments, a module name and the name of a shared object file to load it from
***
I do think it's the absence or presence of quotes in the path. It might be the colon... Try
putting the dll in
c:/program files/apache group/apache/modules
and change the line to
LoadModule php4_module modules/php4apache.dll
I use PHP with Apache on both NT 4 and 5, none of my LoadModule lines has any quotes, and I have
never had problems with it.
BTW, don's send any more images to the list. Copy the text instead. If you don't know how
to copy text from a console window, RTFM.

I am using it without the quotes as we speak with no problems. Why do you say this is wrong?
Brian.

bad:
# for the apache module
LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php4
right:
# for the apache module
LoadModule php4_module "c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll"
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php4
