ID: 8591 Updated by: sniper Reported By: alex@linuxhacker.org Old-Status: Open Status: Feedback Bug Type: Compile Failure Operating system: PHP Version: 4.0.4 Assigned To: Comments: Could you please try the latest CVS snapshot from http://snaps.php.net/ to see if this is fixed now. --Jani Previous Comments: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- [2001-01-08 05:41:49] alex@linuxhacker.org I believe the problem is that __arm is defined but LINUX is not, so main/php.h #defines XtOffset(p_type,field) to _Offsetof(p_type,field), and _Offsetof() is not defined on Linux, which causes lots of parse errors and a build failure. Simply commenting out the offending part of php.h allows the build to succeed, but this probably isn't the correct fix. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ATTENTION!
