Okay, you said to take this out of the bug database, so ...
php -l *still* doesn't work for me with the RC4 tarball:
[cmv@sunniva Reg]$ cat x.php
<?php
$a = array(1,2,3)
print_r($a);
?>
[cmv@sunniva Reg]$ php -v
4.0.6RC4
[cmv@sunniva Reg]$ php -l x.php
[cmv@sunniva Reg]$ php x.php
