the cgi version of php can be run as a standalone application, but you'll need some kind of web
server to talk to display the pages through an http client.

Is there any way to just have a PHP interpreter with no
web server ?
I was trying to develop an HTML applicaton and deploy it on single PCs without sending out a web
server for each PC.
Do you know if this is possible with PHP ?
Thanks.
Jack
