A user complaining about blocking behaviour when he uses blocking socket operations. Really, fgets() cannot work in a blocking environment without using the single-character recv again. We cannot use any prefetch-algorithm in the context of blocking operations, because we cannot know how much data will be available which we can read without blocking for "some time" (where "some time" is defined by the user and the execution time limit).
