Ok, there are some backtraces an further descriptions ...
It is a reproduceable error. Nearly every time the script using some arrays is
running, one of the following scripts crashes the server, but most times at
another point. The first workaround we have found (sorry, but we havn't found
the bug ...), is to configure apache to kill a child after it processed one
page. An other solution could be to change the php-code. But this code is
constructed from many php-classes with several 100'th lines ... and we have
reviewed it some times.
The bug doesn't depend on the php-Version and doesn't depend on the
libc-Version. We have found it under all combinations of libc5, libc6 and
php3.0.7, php3.0.8 on Linux-Systems (2.0.36 and 2.2.5).
I hope you can use the following backtraces. But I think the dumps are produced
in an run after the script generating the error. Ok, the error can be in our
script. But as I understand compiler-techniques, interpreters and php we can't
crash the server with a buggy script?????
