Status: Feedback
Bug Type: Session related
Operating System: Debian Potato 2.2.19
PHP Version: 4.0.6
New Comment:
That works for me on Linux. Are you using transparent session id propagation and/or output buffers?
Thanks.

I was able to reproduce this with the latest CVS of PHP 4.0.7-dev on Win32, built as CGI and the
following script:
<?php
session_start();
?>
<html>
<body>
</body>
</html>
output:
<html>
<body>
</body>
</

CODE SNIPPET:
<?
session_start();
echo '
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
some text here
</body>
</html>
';
?>
The output will be the following:
<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
some text here
</body>
</
It truncates the last </html> tag! When I reload the page, it displays correctly. When I open
a new browser (so a new session id must be created), the problem is the same.
When I close the session with session_destroy before the output, then it works fine.
