Operating system: linux
PHP version: 4.0.6
PHP Bug Type: OCI8 related
Bug description: OCIStmtExecute: ORA-01460
On executing the code mentioned below, I get the following error:
"Warning: OCIStmtExecute: ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable
conversion requested in /home/guest/chan/code/orafuncall.php on line 13"
The code is written in php4 on linux(suse) as;
<?php
// trying oracle procedure call from php
// created on : 24-July-2001
$conn = ocilogon("user1", "user1pass", "");
$sid = "john@dummy";
$stmt = OCIParse( $conn, "begin passfunct( :sid);
end;" );
OCIBindByName ($stmt, ":sid", &$sid, 10 );
OCIExecute($stmt);
?>
Or can anybody help me on how to call oracle functions(procedure) through
php4.
