Hi,
I'm working on a updated instalation guide for php3 on Windows NT/95
(especialy IIS 4.0 and PWS 4.0)
It is no longer needed to change the regestry database uou can just do the
folowing:
1) Start Internet Service Manager
2) Right click on the server and select properties
3) Click on the edit button and select the tab "Home directory"
4) Click ont configuration and add the script map for php:
c:\php3\php.exe %s %s (you can use other patss)
.php3 (you can use other
extentions)
Select "Script engine"
You can also chose to perform setp 2-4 on a single web site or on a single
(virtual) directory. This way you can use different versions of php on the
same server (php3 and php4) and you dont need to have execute rights on any
directories on the web siste !
