I rewrote parts of my flex hack last night to defines for the TLS functions from a new header file (FlexTLS.h). This allows us to create defines for different thread packages, so that when we get around to trying threads on unix, we have that capability. It also includes a native win32 compile of bison done with mingw-gcc, and a native compile of flex using msvc5. Please use this package if you are working on threaded versions of php 3.1. yournearestmirror.php.net/extra/bison-flex-tls.zip (sources and win32 binaries) There also is a note regarding patches for EBCIDIC for an older version of flex in one of the subdirectories of this zip file. Both bison and flex will need to be hacked and patched to make things work for OS/390, if there is not already a version that handles that.
