Try again with the latest version... there were a lot of problems in PHP 4.0.4 (and pl1) with
ob_gzhandler.

In latest CVS, my Script

}
ob_start("my_gzhandler1");
phpinfo();

can't work.
With php-4.0.4pl1 - all work fine.
