I'm not using trans_sid but I am using sessions. My scripts generally do this: if (!session_is_registered("sess")) { $sess = array(); session_register("sess"); } if (!broken_browser()) ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); else ob_start(); The session handler is a custom handler against a mysql db. If the scripts need to redirect, they do this: session_write_close(); // Concurrency problems arise otherwise header("Location: ..."); exit(); Hope that helps; I dont have time to get in there with a debugger right now. --Wez.
