Operating system: Redhat 7.0
PHP version: 4.0.6
PHP Bug Type: PostgreSQL related
Bug description: Apache dies at startup
Apache dies at startup:
Used:
apache-1.3.14 as RPM from REDHAT with dso support
postgresql-7.1.3.tar.gz
php4-200108311635.tar.gz and
php-4.0.6.tar.gz and
php-4.0.4pl1.tar.gz
Installing steps for php4:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/pgsql/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
./configure --with-apxs --with-pgsql --enable-ftp
--with-config-file-path=/etc/httpd/conf
make
make install
cp php.ini-dist /etc/httpd/conf/php.ini
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
httpd says OK at startup
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd status
httpd dead but subsys locked
errorlog:
[Sat Sep 1 00:52:21 2001] [notice] caught SIGTERM, shutting down
If i configure without --with-pgsql all works fine!
