So you mean that PHP read's the whole file, than writes it to /tmp (or c:\temp), and then clears the memory again? If that's the case, that should be fixed IMO, there's no need for buffering like this. Marcel: Monitor your RAM used by the webserver, by means of ctrl+alt+del, T, second tab.
