As far as I can see, one needs only remove:
typedef int yy_state_type;
From zend_globals.h. This makes the following part of the patch relevant:
+#ifndef YY_STATE_DEFINED
+#define YY_STATE_DEFINED
typedef int yy_state_type;
+#endif
