Jim, I still have ways to go. You can see the content admin engine at admin.php.net. If you poke at it beneath the covers you will see what I am trying to do. Nothing is hardcoded and the engine is supposed to be able to handle any set of forms and form elements and tie them to a database. The prototype look and feel that this will get attached to is here: new.php.net I need to get rid of the dhtml crap and just use small tables instead since it is impossible to get this dhtml looking right in both NS and IE. I will be careful not to make the entire page a table though, since that slows everything down. I have a whole bunch of ideas for stuff that I haven't coded yet. Once I finish the infrastructure stuff I am doing right now and get the engine working right, things will move forward quickly. Basically the idea is that the content admin engine will be used to maintain the contents of the site. Joe user will be able to submit new entries into any category and an admin will approve or delete these entries. The actual site will be generated from the databases. That is, the site itself will not need a MySQL backend. The generated pages are also the ones we will make available to mirrors. The top page will consist of entries from the various categories. News, announcements, and boxes that contain the last 5 site entries, or FAQ entries, etc. Also a monthly site spotlight and whatever else we can think of. -Rasmus
