Hmm..is this documented somewhere? :)

On this page: http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.php
it is said that those variables are only created after
succesful upload. So IMO, it works as documented.

btw. Why not use the new true global vars: $_FILES[] for example? :)
