I will implement size restrictions and some basic subject-line
filtering on the php3 mailing list later today.
I'm not going to filter the freetype.h stuff -- once the socket
stuff gets worked out, I'd like to push out a 3.0.10 to fix both
of these problems, since they seem to be the most frequently reported
problems right now.
I will also see what I have to do to put together a Windows
distribution. If I do this, however, I will likely not bother trying
to compile all the various extensions.
For PHP4, we should support something like Apache's module versioning
so that as long as the extension interface is stable, people can
use the same DLLs for them.
