It looks like you're playing with the 3.1 CVS. As a newbie, that's a
no-no; At this time, only the core developers and experienced module
developers are and should be playing with it, as it has large portions of
new and completely untested code, as well as known problems and bugs.
Users should stay with the 3.0 version - play with the 3.0 CVS instead.
