By accident? Back when I wrote the original code, there was no Berkeley
DB2. I specifically tested things against Berkeley DB1 back then. The
code has transposed itself a bit since then.

Well, the dba stuff probably isn't heavily used yet. If we need to change
something we should probably do it now.
