I have not upgraded. I tweaked TeX a little bit. Change in /etc/texmf.cnf:
hash_extra = 8000
pool_size = 500000
max_strings = 60000
save_size = 8000
Then 'tex -ini latex.ltx'
In your php3/doc
make tex
make dvi (or jadetex manual.tex)
jadetex manual.tex
This should produce 785 pages. You can view it with 'xdvi manual.dvi' and
make ps
That is all. Easy?
