The version of Apache i use is : httpd-2.0.28
I have compiled Apache with : ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable_module=all
--enable-shared=max
I have compiled PHP with : ./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs
In the /usr/local/apache/bin/apxs script i have changed the line :
my $CFG_LIBEXECDIR=...
by
my $CFG_LIBEXECDIR='/usr/lib/apache';

Configure line would also be a good idea.
And the information how you compiled Apache or if it was installed
from a RPM.

When i try to start the server : bin/apachectl start
i get the message :
Cannot load /usr/lib/libphp4.so into server : /usr/lib/apache/libphp4.so : undefined symbol :
ap_block_alarms
