Yeah i know that wddx is a serializer... but.. it only works when compiled staticaly into php you can't create a module .dll or .so and create a new serizlier and have it link correctly.
I think serializer can be registered with this. int php_session_register_serializer(const char *name, int (*encode)(PS_SERIALIZER_ENCODE_ARGS), int (*decode)(PS_SERIALIZER_DECODE_ARGS)) NOTE: you'll get fatal error at PHP start up with your serialzer. but you can ingore it and set your serializer with ini_set(). PHPAPI for php_session_register_serialiser/module should be added for winodws. I'll add it to them :) -- Yasuo Ohgaki

I'm writing an extension and i want to register a serializer. The php_session_register_serializer functions isn't an exported function. Is there another way around it or should that function be exported? - Brad
What kind of problem you have? Session module support WDDX serializer. Take a look at how it works :) -- Yasuo Ohgaki -- PHP Development Mailing List <http://www.php.net/> To unsubscribe, e-mail: php-dev-unsubscribe@lists.php.net For additional commands, e-mail: php-dev-help@lists.php.net To contact the list administrators, e-mail: php-list-admin@lists.php.net
