uuencode/decode module

In making a webmail thingie, I found I wanted to be able to handle x-uuencode encoding of mime attachments. Yes, it's old and deprecated, but what the hell. I noted that there were no built-in functions to do so, so I first wrote uudecode in php3. I was disappointed by the performance, so I turned around and wrote it as a C module instead. While I was at it, I threw in uuencode, so now I have what I feel is a not-unreasonable candidate for the dl directory. :-) Does anyone want it?
