(this would be the '/t/php-cvs/php' from your example.) if that is a needed feature we better implement a useful solution. But is it really necessary? i don't expect that would be a widely-used feature, but for the specific case i've outlined (running tests using the same php binary from the run-tests.php script), it would be useful. i'm sure there are more instances in which it would be useful information. jim
