By documentation contributors, I mean anyone I can determine to have
contributed to the documentation (via CVS logs, primarily).
ASF is the Apache Software Foundation (http://www.apache.org/). It is
an actual legal entity that can accept donations (although they are not
tax-deductible in the US until a year from now), unlike the "PHP
Development Team" (or "PHP Documentation Team") which is a rather
nebulous entity.
I am not in a rush to change things, and will certainly wait until
Stig gets back from vacation before making any changes. But I'm not
going to sit on my hands until he's back, either, which is why I
wanted to get the discussion rolling.
