This sounds pretty cool, but one problem is that talking to X10 devices usually requires the correct permissions to open a serial device, which PHP may not have. With PHP4, it will be easier to maintain third-party PHP extensions. Even though some of us might find it useful, I don't think we should have X10 functionality in the main distribution. Jim
