is shutdown_executor called at the end of each request or at server shutdown
? im asking since it seems as if all "live" objects are automatically
destructed in this call (i assume by calling their __destruct handler where
appropriate). if this is the case, this seems as if if would allow me to
avoid having to use resources to store underlying entities. currently with
resources we incur a hash double lookup per object access (look for the rsrc
id in a numeric bucket of the objects hash, then look up the entity in the
resource list.) in ZE2 at least we can do something like
object->value.obj.handle = (long)foo_ptr
and spare the cost of the lookup when we need access to foo.
or is it always recommended to use resources ?
